Start your search in Alicat, the library's catalog, where you can search for the book by the title. On the results page, the editions are listed in reverse chronological order by date of publication, meaning the most recent editions appear first. Click on each record to view the edition number listed in the item's description, which is located just to the right of the date of publication.

After you have located the item you need, if the book is listed as "available," then take note of the call number. Next, refer to the Swirlbul library map, using the "LC Call Number Guide" to find your book. If the book is not available, then you can place a hold on it. You will receive an email from Access Services -- the main desk on the first floor -- when it is ready to be picked up.
