There are many reasons why you may not be able to get into a database. Some are listed below. Possible solutions are bolded:

You are entering your username and/or password incorrectly. Try re-typing your username/password and check that “Caps Lock” is turned off/on.

You have a pop-up blocker/ad blocker. Try turning it off

You are using a computer with anti-virus software. Please add "adelphi.idm.oclc.org" to the anti-virus software’s whitelist.

Adelphi doesn't subscribe to the resource you are trying to access. Contact the IT Help Desk for assistance.

You may have unpaid fines. Contact Adelphi University Libraries for assistance.

Your computer might be on a network that might not allow access (such as governmental offices and law offices). Please try a different computer on another network (eg. home computer).
