Q. Can I borrow materials from other libraries using my Adelphi account?

Interlibrary Borrowing (aka interlibrary loan) is a free service that allows Adelphi students, faculty, and staff to borrow materials not owned by Adelphi University Libraries. The library will request materials on your behalf and let you know when they are ready; electronic items like a journal article may arrive quickly, while physical items like books may take a bit longer.

When you find a book or article in OneSearch unavailable at our Libraries, look for a link to "Request through interlibrary borrowing." You may also initiate a request using the Interlibrary Borrowing link at the top of any OneSearch page.
